This is a 1980s pink silk dress by Albert Nipon.  Fine pleating with a multicolored pattern that was definitely inspired from the art deco period. It is a very geometric design with vibrant coloring. It's made of a beautiful lightweight crepe de chine silk. It does up the back with three buttons, it slips over the head like a slip would. You can wear it with or without its matching belt. It has very small soft shoulder pads.

Some of Albert Nipon's famous clients were Mary Tyler Moore, Nancy Reagan and Barbara Walters.
